This course is for radiologists and all physicians interested in interpreting CT scans of focal lung lesions, pulmonary hypertension, mediastinum and pleura, from residents to consultants.

About the Curriculum

• This curriculum will be taught using Google Classroom. The Introductory Video (link below) has an overview of the curriculum. It is meant for all physicians interested in interpreting CT scans of focal lung lesions, pulmonary hypertension, mediastinum and pleura, from residents to consultants.
• Each week, a new YouTube video on the subject of that week will be uploaded on a Sunday.
• Each video will be accompanied by classwork to be done, in the form of questions and quizzes to be answered. The answers will not be graded but each participant must complete the questions.
• Any questions posed by participants will be answered asynchronously within 2-3 days.
• The last quiz on Week 14 must be answered fully over 1 week and the participant must get 33% correct.
• After completing the course work and the final assessment, a certificate of completion will be issued.
• If less than 80% of the assignments have been completed, then no certificate will be issued.

Payment and Instructions

• The price is Rs. 1499 and subscriptions will be open till the end of Week 4, i.e the midnight of 15th Mar 2025, or when the number of participants reaches 240, whichever is earlier, after which the subscriptions will be closed.
• After your subscription has been received, your email ID will be added to the participant list in Google Classroom, following which you will receive notifications each time a new assignment is put up.

• Observe interpretations of 60-80 spine/MSK cross sectional studies per day from 7 am to 9 pm.
• 20-40 MSK radiographs per day.
• Access to a database of teaching cases.
• Ability to join interdisciplinary conferences/discussions.
• Observation of USG imaging and procedures is subject to patient consent .
• You will NOT be allowed to perform any USG procedures/diagnostic scans 1 month/2 weeks/1 week option.

The Skill Enhancement Program will focus on

• Understanding what constitutes a good CT chest for diffuse lung diseases

• Understanding the four types of diffuse lung diseases (emphysema, small airways disease, cystic lung disease and interstitial lung disease) with a focus on interstitial lung diseases

• Understanding the interpretation of interstitial lung diseases

Pre and post

1. 20 cases will be sent in advance for interpretation with an online Google Doc for self-interpretation
2. 20 cases will be interpreted by the candidates during the masterclass
3. 10 cases will be sent after the masterclass for interpretation

Program (10:00AM to 4:00PM)

1. Welcome note
2. Basic issues in CT chest interpretation of diffuse lung diseases
3. Discussion of the 20 cases given in advance
4. Interpretation of 20 cases given on the day
5. Lunch
6. Discussion of those 20 new cases

10 new cases will be given a week later for interpretation online
